We’ve been flying this plane for too long,
The cockpit was abandoned long ago,
The cockpit was a dream,
A lone tallon clinging tightly,
Assuming the best, not imagining the worst.
But these rivets are blind, and so are we,
Bearing our capacities like a blade through
the air, shearing clouds of life every day.
